Transport Museum

I was just looking for some things to do with the kids (two boys, one 4 and one 2 years old) in Glasgow and surfing the net didnt help that much. We have done all the usual things in Glasgow, but i would just like to say that the favourite day out for my boys has to be the Transport Museum. Being typical boys who like cars and trains (and Balamory), the Transport Museum is a great day out. Not only is it free ( woohoo !!) but the exhibits are great and being so close to the classic cars, motorbikes, police car, prison transport van, trains etc etc is fantastic for the kids...

One thing that could be bettered is the cafeteria,. The food isnt great, but hey... take your own. Thats what we do. So we sit on the platform, or the wee street and eat our sandwiches whilst gazing at the classics. Great stuff.. And when the kids get fed up and need a wee seat, visit the old cinema for Tom and Jerry........ Fantastic.....
